Monday...

Today was a calm day due to the fact that we had the day off of homeschooling. The best part was taking advantage of the nice 70 degree weather we had. Gotta love Texas weather. It is said that we can go through the four seasons in a week, lol!

The kids and I, are in the process of making some rather easy bird feeders. We have different kinds of birds around here but we have mostly seen Cardinals. It is nice to sit by the window and admire God's beautiful creations. We bought some bird seed, threw some on the ground and slowly they started arriving. My children were so excited! I love our little visitors and the best part is that we get to see different kinds of birds year round.
Overall, this was a good day and of course even if it was a bad day, with God by our side, everyday that He gives us is a gift. You all have a blessed and restful night and I apologize that my posts are so short, but like I mentioned before I'm trying to get used to it and will try to make it a little more interesting. Finally Friday

It has been a long week for me like every week that I don't have my other half home. I managed anyhow, us being "super" moms and all. My homeschool day today is done with and now I find myself getting my kiddies ready to head out and see what the rest of the day has in store for us. Maybe a movie or just a simple nature walk, but whatever it is, just being able to spend time with my kids makes it all worthwhile. I hope you all are enjoying your Friday as well. Hello, there. I'm finally at the end of my day and very greatful for the simple things in my life. I'm not a city girl but rather enjoy being out in the country. I am happy to be raising my children in a less "roudy" environment and especially having the opportunity of homeschooling them. I never knew what I was getting into but the Lord has guided me all these 3 years that I've been doing it. I'm sure you mommies that homeschool have had some kind of criticism towards it but I do encourage you to move forward. In the end, what matters the most is your children.

The Beginning

Well, this is truly my first time doing this but I expect it to be something else on my do to list but a fun one. I have enjoyed throughout the years other mommy blogs and now I've decided to do one of my own. I really hope, you that stop by, enjoy my posts.
